The beginning of our set, filmed courtesy of Max Rael
Probably the part at which we began to hit our stride
(the camera had now passed to Euroted
Oh, and we were wearing tin-foil hats for this song.
And the last two songs (I forget who was filming this)
I filmed some of the other band's songs too for good measure (before the camera's memory card reached capacity and I had to stop):
My favourite S.W.A.N.K. song, unfortunately cut short before the end
A brand new song here from Spucktute!
After the bands finished I was scheduled to play a half hour DJ set but the organisers kindly let me run through til 1am, which was excellent. The DJing generally went pretty well, other than Traktor developing a bit of a judder about halfway through and having to be restarted. I played:
23:40 : The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
23:45 : Icon Of Coil - Shallow Nation
23:49 : The Armageddon Dildos - Resist (Lard mix)
23:53 : Combichrist - Give Head If You Got It
23:58 : (x)-Rx - Hit The Drums
00:03 : Hocico - Ruptura
00:07 : Kommand+Kontrol - Watched By Machines (XP8 remix)
00:14 : And One - Steine Sind Steine
00:17 : Apoptygma Berzerk - Non-Stop Violence
00:20 : The Retrosic - Bomb
00:23 : X-Kin - Believe In You (Darkmorte Rocks Mix)
00:27 : Skinny Puppy - Assimilate
00:33 : XP8 - Download Me (P2P Version)
00:37 : VNV Nation - Epicentre
00:44 : Wolfsheim - The Sparrows And The Nightingales
00:48 : Depeche Mode - Everything Counts
00:52 : The Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion
So yes, a successful night I'd say. I even sold a T-shirt!
